Account & Settings

Manage your Dream Planner profile, update your credentials, and control your account settings.

Profile Settings

Your profile contains the basic information associated with your Dream Planner account.

Viewing Your Profile

  1. Click on your avatar or name in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
  2. Select Settings or Profile from the dropdown menu.

Updating Your Details

On the profile settings page, you can update:

  • Full name — Your display name shown across the platform.
  • Email address — The email associated with your account (used for sign-in and notifications).

After making changes, click Save to apply them.

Tip: Your display name appears in shared vendor communications and on any documents generated by Dream Planner. Keep it professional if you are using the platform for business events.

Changing Your Password

To update your password:

  1. Go to your Profile Settings page.
  2. Find the Password section.
  3. Enter your current password for verification.
  4. Enter your new password.
  5. Confirm the new password by typing it again.
  6. Click Update Password.

Password Requirements

Your password must be at least 8 characters long. For the best security, use a combination of:

  • Upper and lowercase letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters (e.g., !, @, #, $)

Tip: Use a password manager to generate and store strong, unique passwords. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.

Signing Out

To sign out of Dream Planner:

  1. Click on your avatar or name in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Sign Out.

You will be redirected to the login page. Your data is safely stored and will be waiting for you when you sign back in.

Signing Out on Shared Devices

If you are using a shared or public computer, always sign out when you are finished. Dream Planner sessions persist until you explicitly sign out, so leaving a session open could allow others to access your event data.

Account Security

Dream Planner takes security seriously:

  • Passwords are hashed — Your password is never stored in plain text.
  • Secure sessions — Authentication is handled via secure, HTTP-only cookies.
  • Email verification — New accounts require email verification before access is granted.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password immediately.
