Subscriptions & Pricing

Overview

DreamPlan offers tiered subscription plans for both planners and vendors. During the current free launch phase, all users have access to core features at no cost. As the platform grows, paid tiers unlock advanced capabilities like analytics, CSV export, and priority support.

All payments are handled securely through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

Current Launch Phase

DreamPlan is currently in its free launch phase. During this period:

  • All planners start on the Free tier with full access to core planning features.
  • All vendors start on the Free tier with access to their profile, inbox, and quoting tools.
  • No credit card is required to sign up.
  • You will be notified well in advance before any pricing changes take effect.

Free Tier

The Free tier is ideal for planners managing a small number of events. You get access to all core features including the event dashboard, guest list, budget tracker, vendor directory, messaging, seating chart, checklist, and documents.

Limits:

  • Up to 3 active events at a time (archived events do not count toward this limit).
  • 1 collaborator per event (just you).
  • No CSV export, analytics, or event cloning.

Pro Tier

The Pro tier removes limits and unlocks power features for busy planners or professionals managing multiple events.

Includes everything in Free, plus:

  • Unlimited active events with no cap on how many you can run simultaneously.
  • Up to 5 collaborators per event for team planning.
  • CSV export for guest lists, budgets, and seating data.
  • Analytics dashboard with spending breakdowns and RSVP trends.
  • Event cloning to duplicate a past event as a starting template.
  • Priority support with faster response times.

Enterprise Tier

The Enterprise tier is planned for large-scale event planning businesses and agencies. Details will be announced in a future update. If you are interested, contact the team at the email on the pricing page.

Free Tier

Vendors on the Free tier can create their business profile, appear in the vendor directory, receive enquiries, and send quotes and invoices through the platform.

Pro Tier

The Pro tier is designed for vendors who want to streamline their business operations.

Includes everything in Free, plus:

  • Stripe Connect integration for accepting payments directly through DreamPlan.
  • Analytics dashboard showing enquiry volume, conversion rates, and revenue tracking.
  • Priority support with faster response times.
  • Auto-reply templates for common enquiry responses.

How to Upgrade

  1. Log in to your portal (Planner or Vendor).
  2. Navigate to Settings from the main navigation.
  3. Click Billing in the settings sidebar.
  4. Review the available plans and click Upgrade next to your chosen tier.
  5. You will be redirected to a Stripe Checkout page.
  6. Enter your payment details and confirm.
  7. Your account is upgraded instantly. New features are available immediately.

Managing Your Subscription

Accessing the Billing Portal

  1. Go to Settings > Billing in your portal.
  2. Click Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe Billing Portal.
  3. From the billing portal you can:
    • View your current plan and billing cycle.
    • Update your payment method (credit card, debit card).
    • Download past invoices and receipts.
    • Switch between plans.
    • Cancel your subscription.

Changing Plans

To switch from Pro to Free (downgrade), use the Stripe Billing Portal. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. No data is deleted when downgrading.

Cancelling Your Subscription

  1. Open Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Billing Portal.
  3. Click Cancel plan.
  4. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  5. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier. No data is deleted.

Tips

Tip: You can upgrade at any time — there is no lock-in period. Your billing cycle starts from the day you upgrade.

Tip: If you are unsure whether Pro is right for you, start with Free and upgrade when you hit a limit. You will not lose any data when changing tiers.

Tip: Keep your payment method up to date in the Stripe Billing Portal to avoid service interruptions.

Tip: Enterprise pricing is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Reach out through the pricing page if you manage more than 20 events per year.

FAQ

Is DreamPlan really free right now? Yes. During the launch phase, all core features are available at no cost. You do not need a credit card to sign up.

When will paid plans launch? Paid plans will be introduced in a future update. All existing users will be notified well in advance, and no one will be charged without opting in.

What happens to my data if I downgrade? Nothing is deleted. If you downgrade from Pro to Free, you retain all your existing events, guests, budgets, and messages. However, you will lose access to Pro-only features like analytics and CSV export. If you exceed the Free tier’s event limit, you will need to archive events to get back under the cap.

Can I get a refund? Refund policies are managed through Stripe. Contact DreamPlan support if you need assistance with a billing issue.

Do vendors pay transaction fees on Stripe Connect? Stripe charges standard processing fees on transactions processed through Stripe Connect. DreamPlan does not add any additional platform fees on top of Stripe’s charges.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing? Billing frequency options will be detailed on the pricing page when paid plans launch.

Is my payment information secure? All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. DreamPlan never stores your credit card details directly.

Do collaborators need their own subscription? No. Collaborators are covered under the event owner’s subscription. Only the planner who owns the event needs a Pro plan to invite up to 5 collaborators.

What happens if my payment fails? Stripe will retry failed payments automatically. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be paused until the payment method is updated. You will receive email notifications about any payment issues.
