Availability Calendar
The availability calendar lets you show planners when you are free, tentatively available, or fully booked. Keeping your calendar up to date helps planners make informed decisions when choosing vendors.
Calendar View
The calendar displays a full month at a time. Each date shows its current availability status using colour coding:
| Status | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Available | Green | You are free and accepting bookings |
| Tentative | Yellow | You may be available but have a pending booking or are unsure |
| Blocked | Red | You are fully booked or unavailable |
Dates without a status set are treated as available by default.
Setting Availability
Single Date
Click on any date to cycle through the three statuses:
- Click once — Available (green)
- Click again — Tentative (yellow)
- Click again — Blocked (red)
- Click again — Clears the status
Range Selection
To set the same status across multiple dates:
- Hold Shift and click the start date.
- Continue holding Shift and click the end date.
- All dates in the range are set to the next status in the cycle.
This is useful for marking holidays, busy seasons, or multi-day events.
Bulk Actions
Use the bulk action controls to quickly set availability for larger periods. Select multiple dates and apply a single status to all of them at once.
Adding Notes to Dates
You can add a note to any date to record context — for example, the name of a client you are tentatively booked for, or the reason you are blocked.
- Click on a date to select it.
- Enter a note in the text field.
- Save the note.
Notes are visible only to you and are not shared with planners.
Tip: Use notes to remind yourself why a date is tentative. When you confirm or lose a booking, you can quickly update the status without forgetting the context.
Navigating Months
Use the arrow buttons or swipe to move between months. The calendar always defaults to the current month when you first open it.
